I just took my IQ test. My result is 113.
I have significantly above average verbal score (95.8 percentile), above average fluid reasoning( 91.5 percentile). But below average working memory (47.4 perc), processing speed (48.1 perc). My reaction time is in the gutter (5.8 perc).
How do I explain this.
My theories:
I was recently diagnosed with ADHD.
Looking back at my life (I’m 23 btw), I was always told I was smart, gifterd even. But my schoolwork was a mess. I couldn’t concentrate. I was always absent and foggy minded. My grades weren’t bad, but inconsistent, I could explain Latin grammar at college level in high school, but struggled with chemistry for example. I was also diagnosed OCD as a child, but grew out of it and I have no symptoms now.
I always remember telling my teachers that I needed more time to finish the task. Understanding wasn’t the problem it was the application of knowledge in short period of time that beat me.
How can I improve this?
