Is Realtional Frame Training (RFT) effective in increasing Intelligence? What do you think?
Hmm, well there is limited replication of these findings outside the original research, and the field has not reached consensus on whether the reported gains reflect genuine increases in general intelligence or other factors such as practice effects, test familiarity, or regression to the mean. But, it would always be good to ask whether any measured gains transfer to real-world cognitive performance or remain specific to the tasks and test formats used in the studies themselves.
I’ve read that RFT-based training programs such as SMART have produced reported IQ increases in several published studies, with some gains reaching or exceeding one standard deviation.
